We love our Echolife products very much – we’d be quite happy to sing their praises all day, although admittedly it would get repetitive for those of you who’ve come to expect varied natural health, wellness and beauty related content over here.
Indulge us for a minute though – in the last week, our very own products have received some love from our favourite bloggers, so in case you missed it (and because we’re very proud), here’s a quick peek below. Enjoy (we did)!
Wellness WA editor and bath enthusiast Annette knows what’s good – and lucky for us, she tirelessly tests new products out in pursuit of the ultimate relaxing and all around wonderful bath.
We thought we’d ask Annette where to start if you’re looking for some products to add to your next soak – read on!
The number one thing we couldn’t be without in summer has to be a bottle of cool face mist. Now that Melbourne is no longer dithering about what season it is and the heat is back in full force, we’re misting our faces throughout the day to keep our skin hydrated and happy. At home for an extra treat said face mist is even kept in the fridge…
No matter your skin type, you should be misting your face – it’s refreshing for one, and very good for your skin. Think of what it has to endure in the hot months… a confusing yo-yo of alternating air conditioning and sweltering heat! A natural face mist contains one or more plant extracts blended to look after your skin by giving it nutrients and keeping it balanced. So beat the summer heat and pick from our favourite mists below!
If you’re already exhausted just thinking about the hectic craziness that is Christmas and the New Year, you can start to breathe easy. Right this minute.
Because today, we’re in for a real treat: Miss Wellness WA devised a 3-part plan to tackle the stressful times ahead and is sharing it below. Let the tension-melting begin!
We are big believers in the above formula and our brand new Echolife line of face mists proves it. Face mists are one clever skin product – you could even say they are multi-tasking super heroes (with special powers). They don’t just refresh skin, they can rejuvenate and tone it, zap breakout-causing bacteria into oblivion, help ease inflammation… with just three or four sprays of a bottle. And all this magic happens when you combine the simplest of ingredients: plants and pure water.
So… ta-da! The Echolife Pure Botanical Infusions aka Facial Mists that will make your skin say ‘What took you so long?’
As promised, today we’re bringing you a review of the aptly named Weleda Relaxing Lavender Bath Milk. Annette (of Wellness WA fame) tried it and loved it. She’s telling us all about it below…
Lavender oil is best known for its calming and relaxing effect. Although it does a brilliant job at helping us relax and unwind (and even reduce anxiety if we are inclined to fidget), it’s somewhat short-changing this amazing oil not to mention its other powers.
The benefits of lavender are many and include analgesic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, anxiolytic and decongestant properties (amongst others) – it is truly an all-purpose oil that should be a staple in every home. It can be used for pain relief, to treat small burns and insect bites, it works a charm as a mosquito repellent, it’s especially wonderful as a treatment for dry, sensitive or oily skin, it can soothe bronchial cough and improve sleep quality. Not bad!
Having a bath is a great way to take a break and relax – and depending on what you put in the bath, your skin can absorb some trace minerals from pure sea salt or rich nutrients from natural plant oils. Continue reading
