Burts Bees Sensitive Skin Care Range: Sensitive Cleanser, Sensitive Day and Night Creams, Sensitive Eye CreamWe love you sensitive types, so we’ve just added a whole new range of natural skin care to suit your needs. Burt’s Bees’ line of products for sensitive skin caters to temperamental, irritated, and overall harder-to-manage skin with 99% natural formulas that are allergy and dermatologist-tested. The resulting Sensitive range provides maximum efficiency with minimum risk of irritation or redness. And you can win yourselves some. Sounds good? Read on!

If you have dry sensitive skin, it’s paramount you are very selective and careful with the skin care products you use. Harsh ingredients will wreak more havoc on your skin so it’s especially important for you to practice gentle cleansing and use products as natural as possible tailored to your skin type.

Enters Burt’s Bees Sensitive Skin line – four products to cater to your whole routine, formulated with cotton extract and side-kicks rice and aloe vera. All skin-friendly, all gentle, all fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. Perfect for the sensitive amongst you.

Burts Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser 170gThe Sensitive Skin Cleanser is soap-free and sulphate-free – using natural yucca and soap-bark to remove impurities while preserving moisture. The cotton/rice/aloe trinity softens and replenishes your skin to leave it gently cleansed but not stripped, and plumped with nourishing ingredients.

The Sensitive Skin Creams come in Day and Night formulas – both rich in the same soothing and gentle ingredients, varying slightly in texture. You can look forward to more radiant, more even and calmer skin.

Burts Bees Sensitive Eye Cream 10gThe Sensitive Eye Cream is infused with anti-inflammatory herb extracts to reduce puffiness and boost moisture while erasing traces of irritation and redness.

The range works best when products are used in conjunction with each other – but if you’re pleased with your current cleanser and just want to treat your sensitive skin to a better moisturiser or eye cream, give the products a try individually. The formulas of the whole Sensitive range products are designed to neutralise the effect of potential skin irritants and help your skin regain balance – so they’ll perform well on their own too.

To celebrate the addition of the Sensitive range to our catalogue, we’re giving away one Sensitive Facial Cleanser, one Sensitive Daily Moisturising Cream and one Sensitive Night Cream – to enter, simply leave a comment below telling us your favourite natural trick to care for your skin when it’s being all sensitive.

We’ll draw a winner at random on Wednesday 3rd of October – until then, good luck!

  1. Heh, I actually use the Echolife Rose Hip Oil to calm my skin – it tones down redness and keeps it soft and smooth. I love it.

Every now and then I do a mask with Manuka honey too -I find it works well when I’ve been messing about with too many products.

  2. When my skin feels hyper sensitive I stick to the most natural routine. Rosewater Mist and 100% Argan oil. Basic, but thats it!

  3. my favourite skin care tip for sensitive skin is really simple. stay away from products fr a day or two to let the skin rest and splash skin with clear cool water a few times through the day. that always calms my skin right down.

  4. My absolute favourite trick is to make a little muslin sack of oatmeal, soak it in lukewarm water and gently dab it over the irritated areas. It soothes the irritated areas right down and stops the itching, thanks to powerful natural anti-irritant aventhramides! I also like to stay away from exfoliants (physical and chemical), and if it’s dry, I moisturise with an oil-free moisturiser with as few ingredients and as little scent as possible. If it can handle it, a kaolin mask helps cool and calm it down, as long as it stays moist. You can probably tell that I’m having a bit of a sensitive skin issue at the moment from how much I can think of right now 😉

  5. When my skin gets a bit sensitive I go make-up free for a few days and use my Body Shop cucumber refreshing water and cleansing milk to calm it down and let it breathe. Also I drink a lot of water to flush any toxins out that may be irritating it and make sure I stay out of the sun.
