This guest product review from Jessica goes out to all of you who go toner-less in your skin care routine, and want to venture into the world of facial mists. Jessica tried Botáni’s rose water and aloe vera Soothing Facial Mist and is sharing her thoughts below.
‘I have tried many a rose mist in my time, and I like to think that by now I know what I like. I’m happy to say that I really like the Botani Soothing Facial Mist. It ticks all the boxes for me when it comes to a good quality facial mist – all natural, paraben free and not tested on animals. It also contains all of the core ingredients I love in a skin care product – rose, aloe vera, chamomile and vitamins C and E.
I often use facial mists in place of a regular toner, so having soothing elements like chamomile and aloe vera help to settle my skin before the application of my moisturiser.
It is alcohol free and non drying so it is suitable for all skin types, and I found that it did a great job of balancing my skin without drying it out at all (like some facial mists are prone to do). The Botani Soothing Facial Mist has quite a strong rose scent, which to be honest at first I was not a huge fan of. It’s a lot stronger than the fragrance of the mists that I’ve used the past, but it has grown on me and I barely notice it now.
All in all I really like the Botani Soothing Facial Mist, and as it’s one of the more inexpensive mists I’ve used in the past I can definitely see myself repurchasing it when my bottle runs out.’
Thanks so much to Jessica!
